Documentary Photographer, West Midlands
Outroslide Photography documents real people, real places and real moments. Based at The Stables in Walsall, we work with community organisations, arts bodies, local authorities and businesses across the West Midlands, producing photography that is honest, well-crafted and built to last.
With 14 years of professional experience and a background in Arts Council-funded project work, we bring a documentary approach to every commission. Whether the brief is a grant-funded community project, a corporate event, a set of environmental portraits or a headshot session, the work is done with the same care: unobtrusively, to a high technical standard, and with a genuine interest in the subject.
What We Do
Outroslide offers a focused range of photographic services for organisations and individuals across the West Midlands and beyond.
- Documentary and project photography. Long-term commissions, grant-funded projects and visual records of community initiatives. Experienced in Arts Council and Heritage Lottery reporting requirements.
- Community and arts photography. Photography for arts organisations, local authorities and community groups. Previous clients include Creative Black Country, Walsall Council, Wolverhampton Council and Sandwell Council.
- Environmental portrait photography. People photographed in their own context. Honest, natural and far more interesting than a studio backdrop.
- Event photography. Community events, exhibitions, launches, conferences and civic occasions across the West Midlands.
- Portraits and headshots. Individual and group portrait sessions for professionals, creatives and organisations.
Who We Work With
We work with arts organisations, local authorities, community groups, funded projects and businesses that need photography they can rely on. Past clients include Creative Black Country, Walsall Council, Wolverhampton Council and Sandwell Council, alongside individual artists, project managers and community organisations across the region.
We are experienced working across diverse communities in Walsall, Birmingham, Wolverhampton, Sandwell and the wider Black Country, and in international settings, with project work completed in South Asia and East Africa.
